In conversation だから can sound blunt or defensive when answering someone — close to 'that's exactly why I…' or an impatient 'like I said.' Tone matters.

Easily confused with

からから joins cause and result inside one sentence (雨あめだから出でかけない); だから restarts as a new sentence pointing back at what was just said. のでので / なので gives the reason more softly and objectively; だから is more assertive and can feel pushy. For polite requests and explanations, ので is safer.
