Easily confused with

またまた is a neutral 'again' (a plain repetition); またも adds emphasis and emotion — 'yet again,' with a sense of 'here we go again.' も又 Word order flips the meaning: またも = '(happened) again' (repetition in time); もまた (X も又) = 'X too / X as well' (adding another item), as in 彼かれもまた反対はんたいした 'he too objected.'
