Easily confused with

折 Both are warm, polite 'occasion' words for letters. 折おり is a graceful general 'when' (寒さむい折おり); 節せつ leans on fixed phrases (その節せつは) tied to a specific occasion of contact. 際さいに際さいに is neutral-official 'when' (notices, manuals); 節せつ is courteous and confined to correspondence.

Notes
