〜し〜し ・ しし
Meaning
- ~, and ~ (and what's more) — explicitly stacks two or more reasons or qualities, all pointing toward a conclusion
Repeating し spells out the cumulative listing of single し: you give several grounds side by side, building a case. Very common before a decision or evaluation — 安いし、近いし、便利だ ('it's cheap, it's close, it's convenient'). The implied 'so…' conclusion often follows or is left understood.
