〜ごとに ごとに marks a regular unit/interval 'at every ~' (一週間ごとに 'every week'); 度に focuses on each *occasion an event happens* and the consequence it triggers ('every time X, Y follows'). 〜おきに おきに counts the gap *between* occurrences (一日おきに 'every other day'); 度に isn't about spacing at all — it's 'on each occasion that ~ happens'.
Notes
- Often pairs with a verb of change to mean 'more and more each time': 会う度にきれいになる ('she gets prettier every time I see her').
